The Qur’an describes the inhabitants of Paradise wearing silk, green garments, fine sundus, rich istabraq, bracelets of gold and silver, and jewellery made with pearls. The narrations of Prophet Muhammad and the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, provide further details concerning crowns, diadems, necklaces, bracelets, rings, robes of different colours, garments woven with precious materials and attire created from light.
The Shia narrations collected in this chapter also explain:
- what materials the garments of Paradise will contain;
- what kinds of jewellery the inhabitants will wear;
- how clothing will be brought to them;
- whether they will be able to select their own attire;
- how the trees of Paradise will produce garments and ornaments;
- the extraordinary radiance of heavenly clothing;
- and which worldly deeds bring special garments and crowns in the Hereafter.
Only narrations attributed to Prophet Muhammad and the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, have been included. Reports located only through Sunni collections have not been presented as Shia hadith.

Part One: Clothing and Jewellery in the Qur’an
1. Gold Bracelets and Green Garments of Sundus and Istabraq
Qur’an — Surah al-Kahf 18:31

English Translation
“Those will have Gardens of Eden beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining upon couches. Excellent is the reward, and beautiful is the resting place.”
Short Comment
The verse combines gold jewellery with green garments made from two forms of heavenly silk.
2. Bracelets of Gold and Pearls, With Silk Clothing

“Allah will admit those who believe and perform righteous deeds into Gardens beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothing therein will be silk.”

Gold, pearls and silk are explicitly identified as elements of the believers’ adornment in Paradise.
3. Gold, Pearls and Silk in the Gardens of Eden
Qur’an — Surah Fāṭir 35:33

“They will enter Gardens of Eden. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothing therein will be silk.”

4. Sundus and Istabraq in a Place of Complete Security
Qur’an — Surah al-Dukhān 44:51–53

إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ يَلْبَسُونَ مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُتَقَابِلِينَ.
English Translation
“The God-conscious will be in a secure position, within Gardens and springs. They will wear garments of fine silk and brocade while facing one another.”

Their fine clothing will be enjoyed in an environment free from fear, insecurity and loss.
5. Paradise and Silk as a Reward for Patience
Qur’an — Surah al-Insān 76:12

وَجَزَاهُمْ بِمَا صَبَرُوا جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًا.
English Translation
“He will reward them for their patience with Paradise and silk.”

Silk clothing is presented as a direct reward for patience and steadfast obedience.
6. Green Garments and Silver Bracelets
Qur’an — Surah al-Insān 76:21–22

عَالِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُنْدُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ وَحُلُّوا أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا إِنَّ هَذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَاءً وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُمْ مَشْكُورًا.
English Translation
“Upon them will be green garments of fine silk and brocade. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a purifying drink. Indeed, this is your reward, and your striving has been appreciated.”
Short Comment
The verse adds silver bracelets to the gold and pearl jewellery mentioned elsewhere and presents all of it as an appreciated reward.
Part Two: The General Attire of a Believer in Paradise
7. The Crown of Sovereignty and Seventy Garments of Silk
Imam Muhammad al-Baqir, peace be upon him, transmitted the following description from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family.

وَأُلْبِسَ سَبْعِينَ حُلَّةَ حَرِيرٍ بِأَلْوَانٍ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ وَضُرُوبٍ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ، مَنْسُوجَةً بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَاللُّؤْلُؤِ وَالْيَاقُوتِ الْأَحْمَرِ.
فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:
يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ.

“When the believer is admitted into his residences in Paradise and the crown of sovereignty and honour is placed upon his head, he will be dressed in garments of gold, silver, ruby and arranged pearls forming a diadem beneath the crown.
He will be dressed in seventy silk garments of different colours and different forms, woven with gold, silver, pearls and red ruby.
This is the meaning of the words of Allah, Mighty and Majestic:
‘They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothing therein will be silk.’”

“The inhabitants of Paradise will be hairless, beardless and adorned with kohl. They will be crowned, wearing necklaces, bracelets and rings, and they will live in blessing, happiness and honour.”

10. “Wear Whatever You Wish”
A report from Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, describes the believer’s reception upon entering Paradise.

طِبْتَ فَادْخُلْهَا مَعَ الدَّاخِلِينَ.
فَيَدْخُلُ، فَإِذَا هُوَ بِسِمَاطَيْنِ مِنْ شَجَرٍ، أَغْصَانُهَا اللُّؤْلُؤُ، وَفُرُوعُهَا الْحُلِيُّ وَالْحُلَلُ.
فَتَسْتَقْبِلُهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ، مَعَهُمُ النُّوقُ وَالْبَرَاذِينُ وَالْحُلِيُّ وَالْحُلَلُ، فَيَقُولُونَ:
يَا وَلِيَّ اللهِ، ارْكَبْ مَا شِئْتَ، وَالْبَسْ مَا شِئْتَ، وَسَلْ مَا شِئْتَ.

“The angels will then receive him and say:
‘You have become pure, so enter it with those who are entering.’
He will enter and find two rows of trees whose branches are pearls and whose offshoots carry jewellery and garments.
The angels will receive him with mounts, jewellery and garments, saying:
‘O friend of Allah, ride whatever you wish, wear whatever you wish and ask for whatever you wish.’
He will ride whatever he desires and wear whatever he desires. He will be upon a camel or horse created from light, while his garments will be of light and his jewellery will be of light.
He will travel within the Abode of Light accompanied by angels of light, young attendants of light and maidservants of light, until the angels themselves are filled with awe because of the light they see.”

Part Four: Trees That Produce Clothing and Jewellery
11. The Tree of Ṭūbā Supplies Every Residence

فَأَمَّا طُوبَى فَإِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، سَاقُهَا فِي دَارِ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وآله.
وَلَوْ أَنَّ طَائِرًا طَارَ مِنْ سَاقِهَا لَمْ يَبْلُغْ فَرْعَهَا حَتَّى يَقْتُلَهُ الْهَرَمُ.
عَلَى كُلِّ وَرَقَةٍ مِنْهَا مَلَكٌ يَذْكُرُ اللهَ.
وَلَيْسَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ دَارٌ إِلَّا وَفِيهَا غُصْنٌ مِنْ أَغْصَانِهَا.
وَإِنَّ أَغْصَانَهَا لَتُرَى مِنْ وَرَاءِ سُورِ الْجَنَّةِ.
تَحْمِلُ لَهُمْ مَا يَشَاءُونَ مِنْ حُلِيِّهَا وَحُلَلِهَا وَثِمَارِهَا.
لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا أَعَادَهُ اللهُ كَمَا كَانَ.

“As for Ṭūbā, it is a tree within Paradise whose trunk is in the residence of Muhammad.
Were a bird to fly from its trunk, it would not reach its highest branch before old age overcame it.
Upon every leaf is an angel who remembers Allah.
There will be no residence in Paradise without a branch from this tree.
Its branches will be visible beyond the wall of Paradise.
It will carry for the inhabitants whatever jewellery, garments and fruits they desire.
Nothing will be taken from it except that Allah will restore it exactly as it was.”

فَيَرْكَبُهَا أَوْلِيَاءُ اللهِ، فَتَطِيرُ بِهِمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ حَيْثُ شَاءُوا.
فَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ أَسْفَلُ مِنْهُمْ:
يَا رَبَّنَا، مَا بَلَغَ بِعِبَادِكَ هَذِهِ الْكَرَامَةَ؟
فَيَقُولُ اللهُ جَلَّ جَلَالُهُ:
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَقُومُونَ اللَّيْلَ وَلَا يَنَامُونَ، وَيَصُومُونَ النَّهَارَ وَلَا يَأْكُلُونَ، وَيُجَاهِدُونَ الْعَدُوَّ وَلَا يَجْبُنُونَ، وَيَتَصَدَّقُونَ وَلَا يَبْخَلُونَ.

“Within Paradise is a tree from whose upper part garments emerge, while from beneath it emerge piebald, saddled and bridled horses possessing wings, which neither defecate nor urinate.
The friends of Allah will mount them, and they will fly with them throughout Paradise wherever they wish.
Those beneath their rank will ask:
‘Our Lord, what caused Your servants to reach this honour?’
Allah, Majestic is His Majesty, will reply:
‘They used to stand during the night while you slept, fast during the day while you ate, struggle against the enemy without cowardice, and give charity without miserliness.’”

13. Worldly Eyes Could Not Bear a Single Garment
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family, said to Abu Dharr:

“O Abu Dharr, if a single garment from the garments of the inhabitants of Paradise were unfolded in the world today, everyone who looked upon it would fall unconscious, and their eyesight would be unable to bear it.”

14. Green Robes and Crowns From Paradise
Imam Ali, peace be upon him, asked the Messenger of Allah whether a described promise concerned his followers, and the Prophet replied:

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، هَذَا لِشِيعَتِي؟
قَالَ:
إِي وَرَبِّي، إِنَّهُ لِشِيعَتِكَ.
وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَخْرُجُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ قُبُورِهِمْ وَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ:
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ، عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ حُجَّةُ اللهِ.
فَيُؤْتَوْنَ بِحُلَلٍ خُضْرٍ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَأَكَالِيلَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَتِيجَانٍ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَنَجَائِبَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ.
فَيَلْبَسُ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ حُلَّةً خَضْرَاءَ، وَيُوضَعُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ تَاجُ الْمُلْكِ وَإِكْلِيلُ الْكَرَامَةِ.
ثُمَّ يَرْكَبُونَ النَّجَائِبَ، فَتَطِيرُ بِهِمْ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ:
لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ الْفَزَعُ الْأَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَقَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ هَذَا يَوْمُكُمُ الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ.

Imam Ali said:
“I asked:
‘O Messenger of Allah, is this for my followers?’
He replied:
‘Yes, by my Lord, it is for your followers.
On the Day of Resurrection they will emerge from their graves saying:
“There is no god except Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; Ali ibn Abi Talib is the proof of Allah.”
They will be brought green robes from Paradise, diadems from Paradise, crowns from Paradise and noble mounts from Paradise.
Each one will wear a green robe, and the crown of sovereignty and the diadem of honour will be placed upon his head.
They will then mount the heavenly steeds, which will fly with them toward Paradise:
“The greatest terror will not grieve them, and the angels will receive them, saying: This is your day which you were promised.”’”

Part Seven: Worldly Deeds That Bring Heavenly Clothing
15. Clothing a Believer Brings Clothing From Paradise
Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, said:

مَنْ كَسَا أَخَاهُ كِسْوَةَ شِتَاءٍ أَوْ صَيْفٍ، كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَكْسُوَهُ مِنْ ثِيَابِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَأَنْ يُهَوِّنَ عَلَيْهِ سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ، وَأَنْ يُوَسِّعَ عَلَيْهِ فِي قَبْرِهِ، وَأَنْ يَلْقَى الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ قَبْرِهِ بِالْبُشْرَى.
وَهُوَ قَوْلُ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي كِتَابِهِ:
وَتَتَلَقَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ هَذَا يَوْمُكُمُ الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ.
Complete English Translation
“Whoever provides his believing brother with clothing for winter or summer, it becomes a right upon Allah to clothe him with the garments of Paradise, ease for him the agonies of death, expand his grave and cause the angels to receive him with glad tidings when he emerges from his grave.
This is expressed in the words of Allah, Mighty and Majestic:
‘The angels will receive them, saying: This is your day which you were promised.’”

“Whoever clothes a believer with a garment, Allah will clothe him with green garments, and he will remain under the protection of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, for as long as a thread of that garment remains upon the believer.”

Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, said:

مَنْ كَسَا مُؤْمِنًا ثَوْبًا مِنْ عُرْيٍ، كَسَاهُ اللهُ مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ.
وَمَنْ كَسَا مُؤْمِنًا ثَوْبًا مِنْ غِنًى، لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي سِتْرٍ مِنَ اللهِ مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الثَّوْبِ خِرْقَةٌ.
Complete English Translation
“Whoever clothes a believer who lacks sufficient covering, Allah will clothe him with the istabraq of Paradise.
Whoever gives clothing to a believer who already possesses sufficient clothing will remain beneath Allah’s protection for as long as a piece of that garment remains.”

وَكَانَ الْقُرْآنُ حَجِيزًا عَنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، يَقُولُ:
يَا رَبِّ، إِنَّ كُلَّ عَامِلٍ قَدْ أَصَابَ أَجْرَ عَمَلِهِ غَيْرَ عَامِلِي، فَبَلِّغْ بِهِ أَكْرَمَ عَطَايَاكَ.
فَيَكْسُوهُ اللهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ حُلَّتَيْنِ مِنْ حُلَلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَيُوضَعُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ تَاجُ الْكَرَامَةِ.
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لَهُ:
هَلْ أَرْضَيْنَاكَ فِيهِ؟
فَيَقُولُ الْقُرْآنُ:
يَا رَبِّ، قَدْ كُنْتُ أَرْغَبُ لَهُ فِيمَا هُوَ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ هَذَا.
فَيُعْطَى الْأَمْنَ بِيَمِينِهِ، وَالْخُلْدَ بِيَسَارِهِ، ثُمَّ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ.
فَيُقَالُ لَهُ:
اقْرَأْ وَاصْعَدْ دَرَجَةً.
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لَهُ:
هَلْ بَلَغْنَا بِهِ وَأَرْضَيْنَاكَ؟
فَيَقُولُ:
نَعَمْ.
وَمَنْ قَرَأَهُ كَثِيرًا وَتَعَاهَدَهُ بِمَشَقَّةٍ مِنْ شِدَّةِ حِفْظِهِ، أَعْطَاهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَجْرَ هَذَا مَرَّتَيْنِ.
Complete English Translation
“Whoever recites the Qur’an while being a young believer, the Qur’an will become mixed with his flesh and blood, and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will place him among the honourable and righteous messengers.
On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur’an will defend him, saying:
‘My Lord, every worker has received the reward for his work except my worker, so grant him the most honourable of Your gifts.’
Allah, the Almighty and All-Powerful, will clothe him with two garments from the garments of Paradise, and the crown of honour will be placed upon his head.
It will then be said to the Qur’an:
‘Have We satisfied you concerning him?’
The Qur’an will reply:
‘My Lord, I desired something even better than this for him.’
Security will then be placed in his right hand and eternity in his left, after which he will enter Paradise.
He will be told:
‘Recite and ascend one degree.’
It will then be said:
‘Have We elevated him sufficiently and satisfied you?’
The Qur’an will reply:
‘Yes.’
Whoever frequently recites the Qur’an and maintains it despite difficulty in memorising it will be given this reward twice.”

تَعَلَّمُوا الْقُرْآنَ، فَإِنَّهُ يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ صَاحِبَهُ فِي صُورَةِ شَابٍّ جَمِيلٍ شَاحِبِ اللَّوْنِ.
فَيَقُولُ لَهُ الْقُرْآنُ:
أَنَا الَّذِي كُنْتُ أَسْهَرْتُ لَيْلَكَ، وَأَظْمَأْتُ هَوَاجِرَكَ، وَأَجْفَفْتُ رِيقَكَ، وَأَسَلْتُ دَمْعَكَ.
أَؤُولُ مَعَكَ حَيْثُمَا أُلْتَ، وَكُلُّ تَاجِرٍ مِنْ وَرَاءِ تِجَارَتِهِ، وَأَنَا الْيَوْمَ لَكَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ تِجَارَةِ كُلِّ تَاجِرٍ.
وَسَيَأْتِيكَ كَرَامَةٌ مِنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، فَأَبْشِرْ.
فَيُؤْتَى بِتَاجٍ فَيُوضَعُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ، وَيُعْطَى الْأَمَانَ بِيَمِينِهِ، وَالْخُلْدَ فِي الْجِنَانِ بِيَسَارِهِ، وَيُكْسَى حُلَّتَيْنِ.
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لَهُ:
اقْرَأْ وَارْقَهْ.
فَكُلَّمَا قَرَأَ آيَةً صَعِدَ دَرَجَةً.
وَيُكْسَى أَبَوَاهُ حُلَّتَيْنِ إِنْ كَانَا مُؤْمِنَيْنِ.
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لَهُمَا:
هَذَا لِمَا عَلَّمْتُمَاهُ الْقُرْآنَ.
Complete English Translation
“Learn the Qur’an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come to its companion in the form of a beautiful young man whose colour shows the effects of devotion.
The Qur’an will say to him:
‘I am the one who kept you awake during the night, made you thirsty during the heat of the day, dried your mouth and caused your tears to flow.
I will accompany you wherever you go. Every merchant follows the result of his trade, and today I will stand behind your trade beyond every other merchant.
An honour from Allah, Mighty and Majestic, is coming to you, so receive glad tidings.’
A crown will be brought and placed upon his head. Security will be given into his right hand, eternity in the Gardens into his left, and he will be clothed in two garments.
He will then be told:
‘Recite and ascend.’
With every verse he recites, he will rise by one degree.
His parents will also be clothed in two garments if they were believers.
They will then be told:
‘This is because you taught him the Qur’an.’”

20. Robes and Crowns From Paradise
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family, said:

مَنْ رَزَقَهُ اللهُ حُبَّ الْأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي، فَقَدْ أَصَابَ خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، فَلَا يَشُكَّنَّ أَحَدٌ أَنَّهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ.
فَإِنَّ فِي حُبِّ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي عِشْرِينَ خَصْلَةً؛ عَشْرٌ مِنْهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا، وَعَشْرٌ مِنْهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ.
وَأَمَّا الَّتِي فِي الْآخِرَةِ:
فَلَا يُنْشَرُ لَهُ دِيوَانٌ، وَلَا يُنْصَبُ لَهُ مِيزَانٌ، وَيُعْطَى كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ، وَيُكْتَبُ لَهُ بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَيُبَيَّضُ وَجْهُهُ، وَيُكْسَى مِنْ حُلَلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَيَشْفَعُ فِي مِائَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ، وَيَنْظُرُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ بِالرَّحْمَةِ، وَيُتَوَّجُ مِنْ تِيجَانِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَالْعَاشِرَةُ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ.
فَطُوبَى لِمُحِبِّي أَهْلِ بَيْتِي.
Complete English Translation
“Whoever is granted by Allah the love of the Imams from my Ahl al-Bayt has attained the good of this world and the Hereafter, so no one should doubt that he will be in Paradise.
Love of my Ahl al-Bayt contains twenty qualities: ten in this world and ten in the Hereafter.
As for those in the Hereafter:
no record will be opened against him; no scale will be established for him; his book will be given into his right hand; freedom from the Fire will be written for him; his face will be made radiant; he will be clothed in robes from Paradise; he will intercede for one hundred members of his family; Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will look upon him with mercy; he will be crowned with crowns from Paradise; and the tenth is that he will enter Paradise without reckoning.
Blessed, therefore, are those who love my Ahl al-Bayt.”

Materials Named in the Qur’an and Shia Narrations

- istabraq — rich or densely woven heavenly silk;
- general ḥarīr or silk;
- green garments;
- garments of many different colours;

How the Clothing Will Be Supplied
The narrations describe several ways in which attire will be presented:
- garments will come over the inhabitants for them to wear;
- angels will bring clothing and jewellery;

- trees will carry garments and ornaments upon their branches;
- every residence will receive a branch of Ṭūbā;
- garments will emerge from the upper part of a heavenly tree;
- and anything taken from Ṭūbā will immediately be restored.
These descriptions present the clothing of Paradise as effortless, personalised, inexhaustible and created without worldly manufacture.
General Attire and Special Attire
General Attire
The narrations describing the believer generally mention:
- a crown of sovereignty and honour;
- a diadem beneath the crown;
- seventy silk garments of different colours;
- gold, silver, pearls and ruby;
- crowns, necklaces, bracelets and rings;
- the ability to choose whatever clothing and jewellery is desired;
- and garments and ornaments created from light.
Special Attire Rewards
Additional garments and crowns are promised in particular reports to:
- those who clothe a believer;
- those who clothe a believer suffering from need;
- young believers who recite the Qur’an;
- those who maintain companionship with the Qur’an;
- believing parents who teach the Qur’an;
- the followers of Imam Ali described in the relevant report;
- and those granted sincere love of the Ahl al-Bayt.
The special rewards should not be confused with the general attire promised to the inhabitants of Paradise.
Research Boundary
Two common reports found in the supplied documents were not included as Shia hadiths in the main chapter:
- the report stating that every crown contains a pearl illuminating everything between east and west;
- and one version stating that the garments of Paradise split directly from fruit.
The references attached to those particular versions in the supplied material were Sunni collections. The chapter instead includes the Shia narrations concerning garments emerging from heavenly trees and the branches of Ṭūbā.
A direct primary Imami narration explicitly stating that the same individual garments will never wear out was not located in the sources examined, so that statement has not been presented as an established Shia hadith.

The clothing and jewellery of Paradise will therefore be more than bodily covering. They will represent honour, sovereignty, spiritual achievement, beauty and Allah’s appreciation of the believer’s faith and righteous deeds.
